Apologies for the basic question, hopefully someone can direct me to the right place.
I’m removing links and nodes, one by one in a WDN on EPAnet via the user interface, meaning there are thousands of simulations to be run. Although currently it is being run as steady state without a varying demand pattern, I’m looking for a simple way to automate the simulation, link by link and node by node, and then have hydraulic simulation results saved for each scenario (preferably exported to excel files).
I understand this can be done through the developers tool kit… but I don’t know the code that I am supposed to use or how to go about it. I’m also open to using Matlab to do it, especially since I graph the difference in flows and pressures between the network without any removed links/nodes and for each subsequent scenario…
I would appreciate any help, and thanks in advance!
