Hello. I hope you can help me with a problem.
I am using visual studio to compile the epanet dll from the source code. It compiles ok but when I try to use it by replacing the original dll with the new one so it is used by the epanet gui, I get the following error: The procedure entry point ENcloseQ could not be located in the dynamic link library. Please let me know any clue for how to resolve this.
If I understood correctly, you changed the epanet2.dll in the folder of the desktop program.
I think this would not work, as a number of functions have changed, and possibly this would require to recompile the GUI.
Thank you for responding.Yes, I replaced the original dll that came with the program with one I am compiling myself. I have created a simple program to test the dll by calling its functions to run a simulation and it works ok, the problem is when using the dll from the GUI.So are you saying that epanet2.dll that comes with the GUI is not compiled from the latest source code?Does this mean I would have to modify the GUI to account for the changes in the dll functions? what would these functions be?
I am having the same problem. Did you find a solution? If so, please share with me.
Thanks in advance.
