Can someone tell me the meaning of these variables?

inj_start_time = 2*48; % after day 2 (Dt = 30min)
inj_sc=[randi(G.NodeCount,Ns,1), max_inj_conc*rand(Ns,1), randi(48,Ns,1)+inj_start_time, randi(inj_duration,Ns,1)]; % Injection location, magnitude, start time, duration 

In paper it says contamination starts after 2 days but here, it seems it starts at least 96 hours later. Am I seeing something wrong or inj_start_time must be equal to 48 ?

And what is (Dt=30 min)? if it means “duration”, then what is
inj_duration = 24; % maximum duration of 12 hours
?

If the time-step is 30 minutes, it means that each day is split into 48 discrete segments.

Typically, the real time T (real time in hours) = k (unitless) * Dt (hours)

Therefore, the discrete time for day T=48 (hours), for time step of Dt =30 (minutes), is k = 96.

This does not mean T = 96 “hours”, but k = 96 “30-minutes”

Thanks for the answer. So, according to your sayings, the 1440 lines in the results represent the 5 days. So;

1440 / 5 = 288 lines represent 1 day
288 / 48 = 6 lines represent 1 hour, so the time between two lines represents the 10 mins. Am I right?
