Open Channel Flow with EPANET

Hello everyone,

I’ll try to keep my question short - is there any reasonable way to run EPANET as open channel flow? I really like the MSX extension that EPANET offers, for an upcoming research project, but I will need open channel flow and not pressurized flow like EPANET has. Is there any way to trick EPANET into using another hydraulic model when using the MSX extension, or any other ideas? There are other softwares that offer open channel flow, but they don’t offer the robust reaction/kinetics capability that the EPANET MSX extension offers.

Thanks for any insight! I realize more details would help, but just seeing what my options are for now and can provide more details then.
